History

The company was founded in 2005 by two college students and fraternity brothers: Michael Deguira and Patrick Brown. Michael was traditionally more design-oriented while Patrick had been focusing on Web and technology. Throughout the years, each taught the other of their strengths, creating a corporate environment of trust and learning.

Today, each partner is skilled at all aspects of design and Web technology, tackling a myriad of projects from logo design to full-blown e-commerce Web development for clients as large as Nissan and as small as the mom and pop down the street operating a family barbecue sauce business out of their house.

Our Strategy

We pride ourselves on our ability to create cost-effective and reasonable solutions. Too often a customer comes to us with a broken Website, a logo they made at one of those “Online build your own logo factories” and a brochure they are ashamed to hand out. They have usually already invested some amount of capital (typically too much) into these design pieces, so we are asked to fix it on the cheap. We always do…and we consistently offer option to help keep the costs down.

Project Discovery

Expect to spend a little time answering questions when you start a project with EyeCandy. Our vision is your vision, but to get there, we need to understand what you are looking for. It is very common for us to send one or more questionnaires before we begin a project. We are very accurate in our design and the way we achieve that accuracy is making sure we get as much detail up front as possible. We also scope out our larger projects before we begin so both EyeCandy and the customer are on the same page at all times. We will not end a project without fully meeting our customer’s expectations and we strive to ensure we define those expectations up front.
